Our partnership with Happy Tails, an NGO dedicated to providing shelter and care for stray animals, is at the heart of Archeus Law’s commitment to social responsibility. Through this initiative, we actively contribute to the welfare of vulnerable animals in our community. We provide legal support, including vendor contract assistance and representation before regulatory authorities, to ensure Happy Tails can continue its essential work.

โข Our partner, Anshuman Pande, was recently a panellist on a panel organised by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIACโ) at Dubai, on 15 November 2023, discussing measures for Effective Management of Projects, Infrastructure and Energy Disputes. This esteemed panel, comprising of senior disputes and constructions lawyers from reputed international firms, discussed, among other matters:
– The various emerging trends in infrastructure disputes, especially from the MENA region;
– The main issues leading to disputes in the infrastructure and construction sectors;
– Avoidance of disputes at the pre-contractual phase; techniques for managing and altogether avoiding disputes in the pre-arbitration phase;
– Emerging trends relating to valuation and assessment of claims, with a special focus on OHP claims; and
– Problems relating to force majeure preventing parties from submitting proper notifications.
The panel discussion was free-flowing and touched upon a number of emerging issues and suggested measures for effectively managing such disputes from the perspective of practitioners, arbitrators, experts, and other stakeholders.
This was the first Dubai conference hosted by ๐๐๐๐ and was well-attended by a large number of practitioners, arbitrators, experts, and industry representatives. We would like to thank #SIAC for doing a stellar job of hosting the panel and for partnering with Archeus Law in this endeavour. We would also like to thank all panellists and participants for making the event successful and trust that the outcome of the discussion would benefit all interested parties, going forward.
